Nord Haven Sauna and Cold Plunge LLC Mobile Sauna Rental Liability Waiver and Safety Agreement Please read carefully before signing or submitting. This agreement applies to all renters, hosts, event organizers, property owners, and individuals who operate, use, or supervise the Nord Haven Mobile Sauna. By completing this form, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to the terms and conditions below. 1. Acknowledgment of Risks I understand that the mobile sauna contains a wood burning stove which involves open flame, high heat, and potential fire hazards. I understand that sauna use may cause dehydration, dizziness, fainting, heat exhaustion, cardiovascular stress, burns, or other medical complications. I acknowledge that allowing any person to use the sauna involves inherent risks and I voluntarily assume all risks associated with use of the mobile sauna and its equipment. 2. Renter Responsibility for All Participants I understand that when renting the Nord Haven Mobile Sauna, I am fully responsible for the safety of every guest, attendee, or participant who uses the sauna during my rental period. This includes:• Ensuring only individuals in safe physical condition use the sauna• Monitoring participant behavior• Enforcing all safety rules• Preventing intoxicated or impaired individuals from entering• Ensuring no one overheats or remains inside for unsafe periods• Ensuring proper supervision for minors Nord Haven Sauna and Cold Plunge LLC is not responsible for any injuries, medical issues, accidents, burns, or health complications experienced by any participant during my rental. 3. Wood Stove Operation and Fire Safety I understand and agree that the wood burning stove inside the mobile sauna must be operated with extreme caution. The renter is fully responsible for all stove use and fire handling including:• Safely adding wood into the firebox• Keeping door closed and secured• Preventing sparks or embers from escaping• Ensuring no flammable items are near the stove• Ensuring no children handle the stove• Following all safety guidelines provided by Nord Haven• Monitoring the stove at all times it is in operation Any fire related injury or damage is solely the responsibility of the renter. Nord Haven assumes no liability for improper stove use. 4. Property and Equipment Damage Liability The renter accepts full responsibility for the mobile sauna and all equipment during the rental period. The renter agrees to pay for repair or replacement costs associated with:• Damage to the wood stove or chimney• Overheating or improper use of equipment• Broken benches, windows, doors, lights, or accessories• Fire damage or scorch marks• Water damage or mold• Smoke related damage caused by misuse• Towing, delivery, or retrieval issues due to renter negligence Nord Haven reserves the right to charge for cleaning, repairs, or replacement at its discretion. 5. Alcohol, Drugs, and Intoxication Policy The renter must ensure that:• No intoxicated or impaired individual enters the sauna• No alcohol is consumed inside the sauna• Anyone visibly unwell or unsafe is prevented from entering Injuries or incidents involving alcohol or impairment are entirely the responsibility of the renter. 6. Slip, Fall, and Accident Disclaimer I understand that heat, steam, and condensation can create slippery surfaces inside and outside the sauna. Nord Haven Sauna and Cold Plunge LLC is not responsible for slips, trips, falls, or weather related accidents during my rental. The renter accepts full responsibility for ensuring safe conditions and monitoring guest movement. 7. Release, Waiver, and Indemnification I release and discharge Nord Haven Sauna and Cold Plunge LLC, its owners, employees, and contractors from all claims, injuries, liabilities, damages, or losses connected to renting or using the mobile sauna. I agree to indemnify and hold Nord Haven harmless for any claim brought by any guest, attendee, or participant during my rental period. 8. Personal Property Disclaimer Nord Haven Sauna and Cold Plunge LLC is not responsible for damaged, lost, or stolen personal items belonging to renters or guests. 9. Emergency Response In an emergency, the renter is responsible for contacting emergency services. Nord Haven is not responsible for providing medical care, supervision, or emergency response during the rental. 10. Venue and Legal Terms This agreement is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any legal action must be resolved exclusively in Fairfax County, Virginia. Electronic Signature and Agreement By submitting this form electronically, I acknowledge that I fully understand and voluntarily accept all responsibility for the safe use and operation of the Nord Haven Mobile Sauna.
